維多利亞公園年宵花市

年宵來源於廣東省廣州市, 

在清代乾隆、嘉慶年間, 

茶葉銷量大增, 因製茶需要香花，

 促進了種花業的發展。 

到19世紀咸豐、同治年間，花市開始形成。 

在花市上展賣的鮮花品種繁多, 

四時之花都在除夕之夜盛開。 

迎春花市是廣州市民歡度春節的

一項獨特傳統文化活動。 

在農曆臘月廿八至三十日， 

花農紛紛把鮮花運進市區， 

在一些著名的街道成段成片的，

擺成了花街、花市。 

人們扶老帶幼前來逛花市，賞花、賣花。 

由1960年起，每年在維多利亞公園

舉行的年宵花市 

已舉辦了超過四十年。
