Shanghai has cooked up their own version of florentijn hofman's famous inflatable rubber duck by transforming a passenger boat into a floating cooked bird.
the 'roasted' adaption is completed with crispy brown skin, protruding drumsticks and charred wings. the duck’s yellow paper mache head rests at the bow, looking backwards at its crunchy body.
the toasted duck is actually a functioning ferry boat that will carry passengers to cultural performances around the shanghai river for the art bund project 2013.
