7 LITTLE THINGS THAT MEANS A LOT TO YOUR CHILD.

🧡 Learn To Be a Good Father 🧡

1: HUG. A lot. 
Make sure they’re good quality hugs of six seconds or more. Here’s why. If your kids are older and hug-averse, try high-fives instead and work up to hugs.
( Indeed, Yau hugs me more 😚)

2: APOLOGIZE.
If you lost your temper and raised your voice, tell your child you’re sorry and that you’ll try to do better next time. If they were trying to tell you something and you weren’t paying attention, apologize and ask them if they’ll tell you again.
(Sorry Yauyau 😔)

3: STOP and PLAY.
When you sit down and just play for a few minutes – no smartphones, no multitasking – your child will light up.
( Yau always “request”me few hours play indeed 🤪) 

4: SAY SOMETHING POWERFUL.
Remind your child of your unconditional love by saying it out loud on a regular basis. You can say “You are important to me” or “I feel so lucky to be your dad” or just “I love you”and Jesus loves us .😇

5: LOOK THROUGH PHOTOS.
Whether you have a physical photo album or a folder of pictures on your mobile/computer, sit down together and look through family photos. Relive fun family vacations, your kids’ first steps, and birthday parties.
( I always tease her by showing some ugly shots 🤣)

6:START rough-housing or a PILLOW FIGHT.
Research shows this kind of play builds emotional intelligence and brings joy for kids – yes, even girls ( We start thai-style fight recently 🤼‍♂️) 🥊

7: READ BIBLE DAILY ( better start with PROVERBS)
As we read the Bible together, we learned that it was difficult to be passive. We started becoming active students of God’s Word and saw how relevant it is to life.⛳️

Light of Life

                                                          Light of Life

In the beginning, we see that the world was dark, formless, and empty and the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, was hovering over the waters. This is a great metaphor for our souls. Before the light of life enters our being, we are spiritually dead and our souls are empty. That’s why Jesus says that we are to be born again (John 3:3). We’re alive physically, but we have no life spiritually until we invite Jesus into our being. Genesis tells us that in the beginning the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. He is still hovering over our hearts today waiting for us to invite Him in. 

When we invite the Spirit of Jesus into our hearts, God says, “Let there be light” and our souls come alive and are filled with the light of Christ. We’re saved from the darkness of sin and we have new life in Christ. We’re saved from eternal death and we now spend eternity with Jesus. He then lights up our world as we do life on earth with Him. Invite Jesus in and shine with the light of life!

親愛的天父，我知道祢不會輕饒我所犯的罪，因為祢是神聖的上帝，祢喜愛公義，絕不容邪惡不受懲罰。但是我感謝祢，因著祢的智慧與憐憫，讓本該屬於我的詛咒落到祢獨生愛子的身上。奉基督的名，阿們。
Dear Father, I know you cannot take lightly the sins that I commit because you are a God of holiness who loves justice and does not allow evil to go unpunished. But I thank you for your wisdom and mercy in devising a plan that would allow the curse that was rightfully mine to fall upon your Son. In Christ’s Name, Amen.
